When someone we love dies, we want to be sure the body of our loved one is cared for with dignity and their life honored.  We are committed to walking with families during times of death and loss through ways including offering our church and services for a funeral or memorial service.

Our worship book calls funerals a Service of Death and Resurrection.  We believe death does not have the final word, that Jesus ultimately conquered the grave.  Funeral services create room for grieving, sadness, as well as celebration of one’s life, and situate those emotions within our hope in Christ.

Our pastors are available to walk with you through the planning process once a death of a loved one occurs, in cooperation with the funeral home of your choice.  It is our pastors’ privilege to help in choosing music, Scripture readings, other tributes that honor your loved one, help heal sadness, and look to the richness of our hope in Christ.

Some people and families also choose to begin planning funerals prior to illness or death.  Our pastors are available to speak with you about funeral planning.
