Fellowship and Study

Wednesdays – We meet in the Community Room for an evening that begins with worship, singing and fellowship and ends with time spent encountering scripture and offering prayer concerns to God.  Our time together begins around 6:00 and concludes around 7:00.

We also have time throughout the year for trips to Carowinds, bowling, swimming, hiking, movies—we’re open to about anything that encourages Christian fellowship.

Sunday School

Sunday School for grades 7-12 is divided into two groups: grades 7-8, grades 9-12.  Each week’s lesson is devoted to using scripture to help young people find their way and purpose in God’s world.  The lives of the youth  and the issues they face are used to discern the meaning of God’s word for them.  God’s answers to the questions that begin with “How?” and Why?” are examined in depth.  This year animals of the Old Testament will be used to spark discussion and contemplation about the issues confronting today’s youth.
